Acting Governor of Bryansk Oblast Yegor Kovaltchuk said on Tuesday that a strike on a residential building in the Sovetsky district of Bryansk killed one person and injured six others. The building at 34/1 Romashina Street caught fire, and residents were evacuated, with the injured taken to a hospital, Kovaltchuk reported. The address was confirmed by an analysis from the independent outlet Astra.
Later, Kovaltchuk reported a strike on the Dyatkovo district, where there were no casualties.
The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on charges of a terrorist attack and revised the number of injured to seven, according to the agency.
