The Moscow Regional Court disqualified Viktor Bystrov, the Yabloko party candidate in the Kolomna single-mandate constituency No. 120, from the State Duma election, his representative, lawyer Alexander Muravyov, said on Tuesday.

The lawsuit was filed by Bystrov's rival in the district, Dmitry Gelevera of the Green Party, who accused him of copyright infringement in campaign materials, extremism, foreign funding, and errors in his documents.

According to Muravyov, the claims of extremism, copyright infringement, and foreign funding were not confirmed during the hearing. A representative of the election commission provided a certificate on Bystrov's campaign account showing that no funds had been transferred to it.

The disqualification was based on flaws in the paperwork. The plaintiff pointed out that a declaration on major transactions lacked an individual taxpayer number (INN), while a property declaration for assets abroad listed the number twice. Muravyov noted that the forms are generated automatically by a special Central Election Commission program, and the error was made by the program, not the candidate.

The court's decision will be appealed.
