Two men and four women were killed, all of them employees of the enterprise, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said. Four of the 12 wounded are in serious condition with head and neck injuries, emergency services reported.
According to preliminary information, Russian forces attacked the village with three "Banderol" missiles. One of them struck a vegetable storage facility where people were sorting produce.
On the same day, Russian drones attacked civilian vehicles near the town of Derhachi in the Kharkiv region. A 63-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were wounded. Another victim, a 68-year-old man, died of his injuries, local law enforcement agencies reported.
According to the regional police, over the past day Russian forces also shelled settlements in the Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv, Lozova, Chuhuiv and Izium districts with guided aerial bombs and various types of drones.
