Matushevskaya is being transferred from Krasnoyarsk to Tomsk, where a court hearing to select a preventive measure is scheduled for tomorrow, according to Govorit NeMoskva.

In recent years Matushevskaya lived in Serbia and came to Krasnoyarsk on work matters. She worked at the Tomsk television company TV2, where she was responsible for advertising and creative work.

TV2, founded in 1990, was one of the oldest independent television companies in Russia. It stopped broadcasting in 2015. Its website continued operating as the "TV2 News Agency" and was blocked by Roskomnadzor in March 2022, while its Telegram channel has been closed since August 1, 2026. TV2's former editor-in-chief founded and headed the outlet Govorit NeMoskva in the autumn of 2022.

According to Mediazona, as of April 2026 at least 225 criminal cases had been opened in Russia over donations to FBK. At least 24 people have received real prison terms.
