The leadership of all four foreign companies placed under temporary Russian state management by presidential decree has changed, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. Le Monlid LLC, the legal entity of the Lemana PRO chain formerly known as Leroy Merlin, is now headed by Denis Isayev, RBC reported, citing registry data first flagged by Novaya Gazeta Europe.
The new director's patronymic is Rizvangadzhiyevich. He is the son of Rizvangadzhi Isayev, a United Russia State Duma deputy from 2007 to 2011. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the elder Isayev used his official position while a deputy to illegally acquire land in the Krasnodar region.
In April, a court acting on a civil suit filed by the Prosecutor General's Office seized shares in several enterprises and 18 billion rubles from Rizvangadzhi Isayev. Denis Isayev was a co-defendant in that suit alongside his father. Nothing is known about criminal charges being brought against either Isayev.
The elder Isayev and his structures had already received assets under management through the same mechanism. In January, a company owned by Irina Samylina, a business partner of Isayev, became the manager of assets belonging to CanPack, an aluminum packaging manufacturer, Novaya Gazeta Europe reported.
The previous head of Lemana PRO was Laurent Desfassiaux, who had served as general director since 2019. On September 17, Putin signed a law transferring the Russian assets of Auchan, Lemana PRO, Nestle and logistics operator FM Logistic to the temporary management of L.E.V. Management JSC.
Leadership also changed at the other companies over the same period. The Russian division of Auchan is now headed by Ilya Berdnikov, who has served as an executive director at Rosimushchestvo, Russia's federal property management agency, since December 2024, Kommersant noted. Denis Voityuk, previously an executive director at the company, will manage Nestle's Russian legal entity, Nestle Russia.
Yevgeny Nenashev became general director of the Russian legal entity of French logistics company FM Logistic. Novaya Gazeta Europe, which examined leaked databases, found that airline tickets for the family of Otari Arshba, a deputy in five State Duma convocations, were purchased using his phone number. The outlet Agentstvo adds that Nenashev worked at the Main Directorate for Housing Supervision and Maintenance of Territories of the Moscow Region at least from 2022 to 2024 and is a co-founder of the Second Chance foundation.
L.E.V. Management, registered in October 2024 with charter capital of 15,000 rubles, is headed by Andrei Krayushkin, a major general of the Interior Ministry who served as first deputy head of the migration affairs directorate from 2016 until at least 2020.
The Kremlin explained the introduction of temporary management by saying these are companies from unfriendly countries "that are now most actively involved in military actions against our country."
