Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Sunday that more than 620 Ukrainian drones were launched toward the city from the evening of August 17 to the morning of August 18. According to him, over 180 drones were destroyed in the Moscow region. Moscow region Governor Andrei Vorobyov reported the interception of more than 150 drones over the region's territory.

Three people were injured in the attack. In the Ramenskoye district, a 10-year-old girl was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to her hand after a drone fell on a private house. In the Bogorodsky district, a woman required medical assistance, and in Kolomna, a 27-year-old man.

A drone struck a Wildberries warehouse in the Atlant-Park complex in the Bogorodsky district. The company said staff were evacuated and damage was minor — debris hit the building's wall, and goods were not affected. The fire was contained.

In Kolomna, a shopping pavilion near the Globus shopping center caught fire, and a residential building and a registry office were damaged. In Kotelniki, scaffolding at a residential complex under construction caught fire, and in Elektrostal, a car and a transformer substation were damaged.

In Pavlovsky Posad, the roof of an apartment building caught fire and residents were evacuated. In the village of Kuznetsy in the Pavlovo-Posadsky district, a private house burned down completely. In the Bogorodsky district, two private houses in the Albatros gardening association and a guest house in Noginsk were damaged.

Mosoblenego, the regional energy company, reported damage to power grids: more than 5,000 consumers and 46 socially significant facilities in the Likino-Dulyovo and Orekhovo-Zuyevo urban districts were left without electricity. Power supply was promised to be restored within two hours.

Overnight, temporary restrictions were introduced on the arrival and departure of aircraft at Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky airports. Restrictions were also in effect in the area of Sheremetyevo, with flights accepted in coordination with relevant authorities. As of publication, the restrictions remain in place.

Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channel Exilenova+ published video of the attack and the work of air defense systems. The footage shows damage to the Duna residential complex in Kotelniki, located five kilometers from the Moscow oil refinery.
