Penza region governor Oleg Melnichenko has proposed placing identity documents and patches belonging to killed Ukrainian soldiers on the floor of the local "SVO Museum" so that visitors walk over them, according to the governor's Telegram channel and the outlets 7x7 and Ekho.
"These are patches of our enemies, Banderite, Nazi symbols. So put them on the floor, under glass, so that people walk on them," Ekho quoted Melnichenko as saying. He also mentioned handing over to the museum "two identity documents of eliminated Ukrainian servicemen," whom he called "Banderites" and "punishers."
According to TV Rain, the items in question — a helmet, identity documents and patches of killed Ukrainian soldiers — were given to the museum, which opened in February. 7x7 reported Melnichenko as saying: "...we are also handing them to the museum so that you throw them underfoot."
