The plant, located in Vladimir, was taken from its American owners. According to Meduza, the Russian enterprise belonged to French company Aptar Europe Holding, part of the international AptarGroup concern headquartered in the United States.
Aptar produces plastic tableware as well as systems for dispensing and delivering medicines. The company is considered one of the world's leading providers of packaging and dispensing solutions for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and consumer goods.
Zakriev took charge of Danone's Russian subsidiary after its nationalization in 2023. Two months later the company was renamed Health & Nutrition, and it began using the Health & Nutrition brand. Zakriev simultaneously heads Chechnya's Agriculture Ministry.
AO "H and N" — the legal entity of "Logika Moloka," as Danone's Russian division is now called — was appointed temporary manager. That company was nationalized by a separate Putin decree in 2023. According to The Moscow Times, "H and N" is owned by Tatarstan-based "Vamin R," and Ruslan Alisultanov subsequently became the beneficiary of the business.
A week ago, "temporary administration" was introduced for the Russian assets of Auchan, Nestlé, FM Logistic and "Lemana PRO" (formerly Leroy Merlin). "L.E.V. Management" was appointed as the managing company there.
The Kremlin explained the transfer of the assets by saying their owners are from countries unfriendly to Russia that are involved in attacks on Russian economic infrastructure. Putin's press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, spoke of attacks "from the Kyiv regime." The temporary administration mechanism was introduced by a Putin decree in the spring of 2023 — authorities called it a mirror response to the seizure of Russian assets abroad.
