The website of the Rodina party has been down since August 10, the day Russia's Supreme Court considered the party's lawsuit to remove Yabloko from the State Duma election ballot. The outage was flagged by the election monitoring project "Elections in Detail."

Visitors to the site's main page see a placeholder message: "Maintenance in progress. We are updating the platform, preparing new materials, and continuing to work in the interests of citizens. Everything will be ready soon." A correspondent for Ekho, attempting to open the site, received a notice from hosting provider Beget that "the domain is not linked to a directory on the server."

Analysts suggest Rodina may have taken down its website out of fear of counterclaims over intellectual property violations. They note that even the placeholder page displays a logo taken from GitHub — a screwdriver and wrench.

On August 10, the Supreme Court removed Yabloko's federal list from the ballot in response to Rodina's lawsuit. Grounds cited included foreign funding, third-party campaigning, and objections to the use of copyrighted material. On August 17, an appeals court upheld the decision. During the appeal hearing, police detained more than 85 people outside the Supreme Court building.
