Georgy Urushadze, founder of the publisher Freedom Letters, published the letter the store sent him. In it, the chain cited a warning from Roskomnadzor, the federal agency that oversees media and communications, saying the goods "possibly cannot be sold on the territory of the Russian Federation." The book can return to the platform only after Roskomnadzor withdraws its request.

The agency did not say why it issued the warning, and Urushadze did not name the book chain. He also said it is unknown whether the print run has been destroyed. The news was reported by RusNews, Ekho and TV Rain.

"My Prison Trip" was published by Freedom Letters in 2025. According to Meduza, the book was written with Masha Pushkina. It includes Skochilenko's diaries from the pre-trial detention center, transcripts of court hearings, her final statement, the verdict and an account of her release.

Skochilenko was detained in spring 2022 after she replaced price tags in a supermarket on Vasilyevsky Island in St. Petersburg with leaflets containing information about the war in Ukraine. She was charged with spreading "fakes" about the army motivated by political hatred (Part 2, Item "d" of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).

In November 2023, a court sentenced the artist to seven years in a general-regime penal colony. On August 1, 2024, Skochilenko was released in a prisoner exchange between Russia and Western countries and taken to Germany.
