An FPV drone struck a car in the Shostka district of the Sumy region, killing four people, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional administration. The dead included a married couple — a 58-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman — as well as a 45-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman.
The toll from a strike on a residential building in Sumy the previous evening rose to ten injured, five of whom were hospitalized, officials said. Three of the wounded are children. A seven-year-old boy is in intensive care; his parents, employees of the city council, were killed.
In the Kherson region, two women died over the past day. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, a 62-year-old woman was killed in the village of Lvovskiye Otruby after a Russian Molniya-type drone strike. Another woman died in the settlement of Novovorontsovka in the Beryslav district as a result of artillery shelling.
In Dnipro, Russian forces attacked the Novy Kontinent shopping center, sparking a large fire. Oleksandr Hanja, head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, reported four injured. Warehouses and apartment buildings were damaged. Over the day, the Russian army attacked five districts of the region with drones and artillery nearly 40 times. In the Nikopol district, private homes, agricultural machinery and a gas station were damaged, and a 51-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were injured.
In Zaporizhzhia, Russian troops have been carrying out FPV drone strikes since morning. According to Mykhailo Semikin, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, there were hits on cars, the roadway and the territory of a penalty parking lot. One person was injured — a drone hit a truck on the Zaporizhzhia-Donetsk highway, and the driver was hospitalized.
In the Kharkiv region, a 14-year-old teenager suffered an acute stress reaction during a missile strike on Balakliia, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the regional military administration. Five private homes, two shops, two utility buildings, a garage and an administrative building were damaged.
In the Kyiv region, a woman was injured after an attack in the Fastiv district, and a private home was damaged in the Obukhiv district, according to Timur Tkachenko, head of the regional military administration.
