Ukrainian authorities said a Russian drone struck a Lozova-Kharkiv commuter train at Lymanivka station in Kharkiv region on [date], killing two people and wounding five others. The train had been stopped in advance because of the threat of a drone attack and passengers were evacuated, according to Mykola Kalashnyk, Ukraine's minister for restoration, infrastructure and transport.

Most passengers, along with the train crew, moved to a safe distance, but some remained near the train, which had fatal consequences, Kalashnyk wrote. One woman died at the scene, and a second died in hospital, said Serhiy Zelensky, the mayor of Lozova.

Five people were wounded, including the 11-year-old daughter of one of the deceased. The girl is in serious condition with severe burns, wrote Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional administration.

After the first strike, the drone attacked the site again while rescuers were already working there. No one was injured during the second strike.
