Ukraine's Air Force said Russian forces launched an Iskander-M ballistic missile, an Kh-31P anti-radar missile, and 150 attack drones at targets across the country overnight on August 25. Air defense systems shot down or suppressed 124 of the drones.
In Zaporizhzhia, two people were killed when guided aerial bombs were dropped on the city, according to regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov. Another woman was injured in attacks on the city and district.
In Kharkiv, a missile struck an industrial zone in the Osnovianskyi district, killing one person, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said. He also reported drone strikes in the Kyivskyi district of the city.
In Kyiv, debris from a downed drone damaged a 16-story residential building in the Holosiivskyi district, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. One woman was injured.
Russian drones hit the Vynohradivka road checkpoint on the border with Moldova, setting it on fire and halting operations, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said. Travelers are being redirected to other crossing points.
On the evening of August 24, drones attacked a Red Cross warehouse in Kherson, the organization's press service said. The resulting fire destroyed humanitarian supplies, including medical materials, blankets, and water-purification equipment, worth nearly 28 million hryvnias.
The Air Force said strikes were recorded at 17 locations, with debris falling at 7 others.
