Six people were hospitalized after drone debris sparked fires at a Wildberries sorting complex and a Rosneft oil refinery in Ryazan early on July 29, according to regional governor Pavel Malkov. He said the victims' lives were not in danger.
One of the targets was a Wildberries sorting center in the Ryazansky industrial park near the village of Tyushevo, according to OSINT analysis by the Telegram channels Astra and Exilenova+. The marketplace's press service confirmed the evacuation of the logistics facility and said goods from the warehouse had been removed from sale.
Another target was the Ryazan oil refinery, owned by Rosneft, according to Exilenova+. The plant had already halted oil processing due to a drone strike in mid-May.
On the night of July 29, Ukrainian forces also struck Taganrog in the Rostov region. Falling missile debris hit an apartment building, killing a woman and injuring a man, said regional governor Yuri Slyusar. Residents were evacuated, and several private homes and commercial enterprises were damaged.
Sources differed on the cause: Governor Malkov attributed the fires to "falling drone debris," while Ukrainian OSINT channels directly described a drone attack on the Wildberries warehouse and the refinery. In Taganrog, Governor Slyusar reported one fatality, while other sources did not mention any deaths.
