Krasnodar Krai and the Voronezh, Kursk, Rostov, Belgorod and Bryansk regions have opted to use early voting for the State Duma elections, with the Central Election Commission granting permission, according to the outlet 7x7.
In Kursk Region, voting will run for six days, from September 15 to 20. In parts of Krasnodar Krai, it will take place from September 14 to 20, and in parts of Belgorod Region, for eight days, from September 13 to 20.
In Voronezh Region, the voting period varies from five to 12 days. In the town of Klintsy in Bryansk Region, in-person voting at polling stations is scheduled for September 11–13 and 18–20, while voting at home will occur on September 14–16 and 18–20. The dates for early voting in Rostov Region have not been disclosed.
The Belgorod Region election commission approved early voting by a resolution dated August 26, but has not published the list of cities and polling stations. The Bryansk Region commission adopted a similar resolution on August 14, but also has not made it public — the document is referenced only by the Klintsy territorial commission.
The elections to the lower house of parliament will be held on September 18–20. The Yabloko party, which runs on an anti-war platform, was barred from participating. At the same time, dozens of servicemen who fought in Ukraine are running for the Duma from United Russia; many of them are accused of war crimes, notes Current Time.
