Volgograd Region Governor Andrei Bocharov reported a "massive" drone attack on the region, saying a multi-apartment building in the Traktorozavodsky district of Volgograd and a private house in the Krasnoarmeysky district were damaged, with five injured people hospitalized.
Bocharov said fires broke out at a fuel and energy enterprise in the south of Volgograd and at warehouse facilities in the Dzerzhinsky district, without specifying their ownership. The outlet Astra, citing eyewitness photos and videos, reported that the attack may have targeted the Lukoil-Volgogradneftepererabotka oil refinery.
Wildberries' press service confirmed a fire at its warehouse in Volgograd. According to preliminary company data, no employees were injured, logistics chains have been rerouted, and order intake and shipment continue at other facilities.
Telegram channels also reported an attack on a Wildberries logistics facility in Zelenodolsk, Tatarstan, with published footage showing smoke after the strike. Ukrainian monitoring channels circulated video of a drone explosion near an Ozon warehouse, claiming the footage was shot in Zelenodolsk. The outlet 116.ru noted that the Wildberries and Ozon logistics complexes are located on the same industrial site. Zelenodolsk Mayor Mikhail Afanasyev said air defense repelled drone attacks on the logistics center, without specifying whose warehouse it was.
Russia's Defense Ministry reported shooting down 371 Ukrainian drones over several regions, including the Volgograd Region and Tatarstan.
In the Rostov Region, Governor Yuri Slyusar said one woman was injured in the town of Gukovo, where interfloor ceilings in a multi-apartment building were destroyed and residents were evacuated. In Bataysk, falling debris damaged private homes and a shop, and a forest plantation caught fire in Rostov.
Wildberries is Russia's largest marketplace. Since mid-July, Ukraine has struck the company's logistics centers almost daily, claiming they store drone components and dual-use goods. More than 10 warehouses have been damaged in the attacks, taking over 15% of the company's total warehouse capacity offline.
