Khotsenko said air defense systems were "repelling the enemy's attack" and that emergency services were operating at heightened readiness. He later specified that the drones had reached the northern industrial node. He did not report any consequences.

The Telegram channel Omsk Civil Resistance published video of fires in the city. Its authors initially suggested the Omsk refinery — which has already come under Ukrainian drone attack — was burning, but later concluded that the Omsky Kauchuk plant was most likely on fire. Both enterprises are located in industrial zones in the north of the city. Omsk Telegram channels reported sounds resembling explosions.

Ukrainian monitoring channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ reported that drones struck Omsky Kauchuk and a warehouse of the OZON marketplace. Russian authorities have not commented on those claims.

Omsk lies more than 2,500 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The city is home to Russia's largest oil refinery, the Omsk refinery. According to Radio Liberty, it has already been attacked by Ukrainian drones twice: on July 6 and on October 8, 2026.
