Saratov region Governor Roman Busargin said drones attacked "civilian infrastructure" in the city of Saratov, reporting damage and no preliminary casualties.
Astra identified the Saratov oil refinery, owned by Rosneft, as one of the targets after analyzing footage filmed by local residents. A fire broke out at the plant following the drone raid. According to The Moscow Times, the refinery has been struck at least 16 times over the course of the full-scale war.
The second target was an Ozon logistics center. Residents first reported a large fire at the facility, and the marketplace later confirmed the information. Workers were evacuated and, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties. Goods held at the warehouse will be hidden from the storefront and orders canceled. Sellers were promised they would be notified about the resumption of operations in the region through their personal accounts.
Ukrainian drones began attacking Ozon warehouses in late August. Seven hubs have been hit so far, in the Samara, Rostov and Belgorod regions, as well as in Krasnodar Krai, Bashkortostan and Dagestan.
Also, overnight into September 11, a missile attack on Volgograd damaged an apartment building on Geroev Maloy Zemli Street, Governor Andrei Bocharov said. According to him, two men, aged 42 and 55, were injured and hospitalized. Missile debris fell on the grounds of an "industrial enterprise in the south of the city," Bocharov said. According to the Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+, the target was the Volgograd oil refinery, owned by Lukoil.
Samara region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said the region also repelled a Ukrainian drone raid overnight. According to Supernova+, the drones' target was an Ozon warehouse in Samara, but there was no information about the facility being hit at the time of publication.
