Ukrainian drones attacked Bashkortostan, with the region's head, Radiy Khabirov, reporting that "debris from one of the drones fell" in the industrial zone of Salavat, where a fire broke out. He did not report any deaths or injuries.
Ukrainian monitoring Telegram channels Exilenova+ and Supernova+ claim that the target was "Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat," one of Russia's largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes, located about 1,300 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. Astra reports that local residents have reported smoke coming from the plant.
According to the Ukrainian channels, the attack also caused a fire at a Wildberries warehouse. Local media report that residents of the Chishminsky district of Bashkiria have reported black smoke in the area of the company's distribution center. Wildberries representatives and local authorities have not yet given official comments.
Russia's Defense Ministry reported shooting down 362 Ukrainian drones over 19 regions, including Bashkortostan and Tatarstan, as well as over annexed Crimea and the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar said that a girl was injured by a falling drone while at the "Istok" recreation center near Donetsk. According to him, the military shot down "about nine dozen UAVs in eight districts."
