Ukrainian drones attacked the Sverdlovsk region, the regional governor, Denis Pasler, said on Saturday. According to him, strikes and falling debris caused fires in residential buildings and a logistics center.
One building in the Utes residential complex in Yekaterinburg's Chkalovsky district was damaged, the outlet Astra reported. Artem Zhoga, the presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District, said several apartments were damaged. No deaths or injuries were reported.
Local authorities said the logistics center was also targeted. Zhoga said an attack on a "warehouse of a trading company" was prevented, with drone debris falling near the building. The Ukrainian monitoring channel Exilenova+ reported that one of the targets was a Wildberries warehouse on Perspektivnaya Street. According to the channel, the warehouse did not catch fire — the drone fell a few meters from the building. The company did not comment on the attack.
The outlet E1.ru and the Telegram channel Ostorozhno, Novosti reported a fire in the Chkalovsky district of the city.
