Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko reported a fire at the Ust-Luga port following a Ukrainian drone attack. He later said the blaze was extinguished and there were no casualties. In total, 54 drones were shot down over the region.
Ust-Luga is the largest port on the Baltic Sea and Russia's second-largest after Novorossiysk. It is also among Europe's five biggest ports.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said more than 10 additional drones were heading toward the capital. According to him, all were intercepted, with no reports of damage or injuries.
Ukrainian drones also targeted the Tver Region. Acting Governor Vitaly Korolev said drone debris damaged a wall of a Wildberries warehouse in the Kalininsky district. Employees were not hurt.
Latvia's National Armed Forces said one drone entered the country's airspace and was shot down by NATO fighters. According to Latvian military officials, the drone crossed into Latvia due to Russia's use of electronic warfare measures.
