Ukrainian drones struck a Wildberries warehouse in the village of Krasny Bor in the Leningrad region overnight on August 4, igniting a large fire at the logistics center, according to the outlets Bumaga and TV Rain, citing local employee chats and eyewitnesses.
Leningrad region governor Alexander Drozdenko said air defense forces shot down 17 Ukrainian drones overnight. "There is damage in the Krasny Bor warehouse zone. One person was injured," he wrote, without specifying where exactly the strike landed.
Wildberries' press service confirmed the fire and said staff had been "evacuated in advance," noting that, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
The injured person turned out to be an employee of the Lenta hypermarket chain's warehouse, located next to the Wildberries hub. The Lenta group of companies told Bumaga that a fire also broke out at their warehouse in Krasny Bor.
Drozdenko declared a red level of drone danger in the region at 4 a.m.
