Ukrainian drones attacked Wildberries warehouses in the Penza region and Udmurtia, the company said, reporting that logistics centers in the village of Mastinovka near Penza and in Sarapul caught fire.
One person was injured in the strike on the warehouse near Penza, and around 200 employees were evacuated, according to Penza Governor Oleg Melnichenko. Penza Mayor Oleg Denisov warned that smoke from the fire could drift toward the city and urged residents to close windows and avoid going outside with children and pets.
In Udmurtia, Wildberries said a precautionary evacuation was carried out and that there were no preliminary reports of casualties.
Russia's Defense Ministry said it shot down 258 Ukrainian drones overnight across nine regions, annexed Crimea, and the Azov and Black Seas. A drone threat alert was declared in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions on the morning after the attacks.
