Case summary
In April 2021 it became known that Akel was accused of violating sanitary and epidemiological rules in connection with participation in a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on 23 January. On 2 August he was sentenced to a fine of 100 thousand rubles. In March 2024 he died fighting on the side of Ukraine.
