Case summary

Formerly director of the PERMM museum. In March 2024, she was searched in the treason case against the activist Pyotr Verzilov. In November, she was searched in a terrorism case against gallery owner Marat Gelman. Allakhverdiyeva left Russia. In March 2025, it became known that a case of insulting the feelings of believers was brought against her herself because of the paintings exhibited in the museum. In May 2025, she was put on a wanted list, and in July, the court ordered her arrest in absentia.
