According to the investigation, in July 2022 he published a post on his Odnoklassniki page, in which law enforcement officers found "linguistic signs" of discrediting the army. In April 2022, Avtomanov was fined 30,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the army (part 1 of article 20.3.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). As stated in the ruling, the reason for prosecution were two publications. One of them depicted the flag of Ukraine with the inscription "Bandera rag", the flag of Russia with the inscription "Vlasov rag" and the flag of the USSR with the inscription "Your great-grandfather understood it. And you? The flag of victory over fascism." On the second - the letter Z in a circle with the inscription "To new fascism, a new swastika!".
