Case summary

Blogger and activist from Ufa, he protests against the mining of Kryktytau range. On the morning of 5th of June 2025 Baibulatov's home was visited by FSS. The next day he was accused of dissemination by a group of individuals in a previous agreement of knowingly false information about the circumstances posing a threat to the life and safety of citizens. On the same day the court chose the prohibition of certain actions as a measure of restraint (he isn't allowed to leave his flat at night and speak to the other defendants in the case).

According to "Idel.Realii", the reason for the criminal case was a post from 22/04/25 in the activist's Telegram channel, in which he argued against the mining of Kryktytau. Among other things, he said that there's a radioactive waste repository and an anthrax cattle burial ground filled with concrete in the area, and the mining for metals hurts the ecology.
