According to the investigation, no later than 22:12 on 5 August 2021, Benko, a supporter of the NGO “Anti-Corruption Foundation” (FBK) who shares its core ideas and was aware that the NGO FBK had been recognised as an extremist organisation and liquidated, formed criminal intent to provide funds to support the activities of the extremist organisation - the NGO FBK. Subsequently, while at his residence at 15 Iskrovsky Avenue, Saint Petersburg, at around 22:12 on 5 August 2021, and knowing that the NGO FBK had been recognised by a court as an extremist organisation and liquidated, Benko, with the purpose of providing funds to support the activities of the extremist organisation, followed a link explicitly intended for financing extremist activities, including supporting the activities of the NGO FBK, and transferred 1,000 rubles from his bank account to a merchant account in the name of the NGO FBK. Benko also made a connection for further systematic debiting of funds intended for the financing of extremist activities, including for ensuring the activities of the extremist organisation FBK. Furthermore, being aware that after the transfer of funds on 5 August 2021 to the above-mentioned merchant account a subscription for systematic transfers of funds was automatically activated, he took no measures to cancel the previously established systematic withdrawal of funds. As a result, he continued to finance extremist activities, namely making the following transfers from his bank account: 1,000 rubles on 5 September 2021 at 23:14; 1,000 rubles on 5 October 2021 at 23:13; 1,000 rubles on 5 November 2021 at 23:13; 1,000 rubles on 5 December 2021 at 23:14; 1,000 rubles on 5 January 2022 at 23:13; and 1,000 rubles on 5 February 2022 at 23:14. Thus Benko repeatedly transferred money intended to finance extremist activities, including the following extremist activities, including to support the activities of the extremist organisation FBK, RUB 1,000 on each occasion, for a total of RUB 7,000.
