According to the investigation, using a fake account, he published comments "aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" in one of the communities. In April 2023, Derevskov was fined 40,000 rubles (≈$490 as of 04/01/2023) under the administrative article on discrediting the Russian army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences). The reason for the fine was a comment under a post in social network "VKontakte" in the public group "New Syzran", dedicated to a Russian pilot killed in the war. The comment read: "the soldiers of the 3rd Reich executed such orders the same way, did they also do everything right and had no choice? :) The choice is always there, to go and execute criminal orders and kill your neighbours, or to refuse, even if that means going to prison for it, but nevertheless, he made his choice, that’s why he is rotting in the ground now, well... one fewer".
