Case summary

A resident of Kabardino-Balkaria. Administrator of the YouTube channel "Anastasia for the Law". In July 2019, administrative protocols were drawn up on Emelyanova and her sister because of the speech at the rally and the Putin mask. The girl was also detained on 23 January 2021 - the day of the protests in support of Alexei Navalny. She was charged with organising an uncoordinated public event because of publications in social networks. In February 2022, Emelyanova was attacked in the city hall of the city of Baksan, after which she required hospitalisation.

In September 2022, about 20 law enforcers came to Emelyanova's house with a search in the case of defamation of Zhanna Makhova, a businesswoman from the Orel region. The activist connects the persecution with her anti-war stance - she spoke out against mobilisation and against "the special operation" in general on Instagram.
