According to the verdict, on 7 and 11 September 2024 in Rostov-on-Don, Gadzhiev, as an acting shift supervisor of the platoon of the military commandant's office and head of the guard for the protection of the military unit's No. <...> warehouse, wishing to frighten his subordinate personnel, decided to mislead them about the implementation of the tasks of the special military operation (hereinafter - SMO). In the course of a conversation with his subordinate guard personnel, Gadzhiev publicly provided them, under the guise of reliable data, deliberately false information regarding the true progress of the SMO, showing his knowledge of the allegedly real situation in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, exaggerating the successes of the enemy on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic and negatively assessing the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Full summary
The warrant officer from Rostov-on-Don, participated in the war. On 14 April 2025, he was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime penal colony in the case of spreading "fakes" about the Russian army due to conversations with subordinates. According to the verdict, during these conversations Gadzhiev exaggerated the successes of the Ukrainian army and negatively assessed the actions of the Russian armed forces. The warrant officer was banned for three years from holding positions related to the exercise of organisational and administrative powers in state and local government bodies. In addition, Gadzhiev was stripped of his rank.
On 20 June 2025, the court of appeal replaced the punishment with a fine of 2.5 million rubles.
