Case summary
Resident of the Omsk region. She lives with her husband in a former settlement, actually on a farm. Because of leg pain, she uses crutches: she has had a joint replacement in one leg and is awaiting surgery on the other. Her husband has a disability due to respiratory and heart conditions. They used to run a farm, but had to close it, in particular due to low milk prices.
On September 20, 2023, a search was conducted at Gordienko's home in a case over “discrediting the Russian army”. She was placed under a recognizance not to leave. On August 27, 2024, Gordienko received 1 year 6 months' suspended sentence.
In November 2024, retiree Gordienko reported that a new criminal casewas opened against her for discrediting the Russian army because of her comments because of the comments: “I think, as your beloved Putin said, you will go to heaven, and I will just die,” and “I demand that the war be stopped. ‘Thou shalt not kill.’ No to war!”. On August 21, 2025, the court handed Gordienko 2 years' suspended sentence.
