Case summary
A resident of Moscow and a former deputy of the Zyuzino municipal council. On 12 September 2024, he was placed under house arrest in a case concerning the financing of extremist activity, linked to a donation to the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK). On 13 February 2025, Grishin was sentenced to a fine of 350,000 rubles (approximately US$4,000). On 17 June, the Moscow City Court, on appeal, toughened the sentence, replacing the fine with three and a half years in prison.
