Case summary

A resident of Berezniki (Perm Krai). Prior to the ban on Navalny’s headquarters, she was an activist of the local headquarters; in 2021 she ran for election as a municipal deputy but lost to a candidate from ‘United Russia’. She practises winter swimming; in 2013 she swam across the Bering Strait and was entered into the Guinness World Records.

On 27 August 2025, she was detained in a case concerning the financing of extremist activity due to donations to FBK. The following day, Guseva was remanded in custody. On 14 October 2025, she was transferred to house arrest.

On 29 January 2025, the court sentenced her to a fine of 300,000 roubles.
