Case summary
On 3 April 2019, detained on suspicion of involvement in the attack on police officers during a rally against the transfer of land to Chechnya on 27 March in Magas. On 5 April, sent to the pre-trial detention centre in Nalchik. On 28 February 2020, the charge was reclassified to incitement to use violence against a representative of the authorities, that does not endanger human life or health. On 16 February 2021, sentenced to three and a half years in a general regime penal colony. On 6 August he was released.
