According to the investigation, in March 2023, "on a confidential basis, he established contact with representatives of a foreign organisation and agreed to participate in its activities against the security of the Russian Federation, after which he received a number of tasks. Instructions were sent to the defendant's email address to carry out sabotage and subversive work on the territory of Russia: dissemination of pro-Ukrainian propaganda materials, collection and transfer of information about the location of units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSB, Rosgvardia, border troops, military units and military recruitment centres".
