According to the investigation, in May 2023, the suspect, being a journalist of one of the foreign Internet papers included by the Ministry of Justice of Russia in the register of "foreign agents", posted in the paper's blog, open for public viewing, material containing, under the guise of reliable information, knowingly false information about the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation during a special military operation. It has been established that no later than April 2020, a freelancer agreement was concluded between the suspect and a foreign non-profit corporation on payment for journalistic production in the form of text materials. In May 2023, after the publication of the interview, the woman received monetary remuneration in the amount of 64 thousand roubles. "SOTAvision" reported that the charge relates to an interview that Khustik under the alias Olga Sorokina published in the spring of 2023 in "Sibir.Realii". The material was about the exhibition of Novosibirsk artist Leonid Tishkov "Uman's Pit" in the museum centre "Peace Square" in Krasnoyarsk. The exposition told about the artist's father - Alexander Tishkov, a Soviet officer who was into the Uman cauldron in 1941. The prosecutor's office believes that Khustik attributed to the famous Novosibirsk historian-"foreign agent" Sergei Chernyshov words that he allegedly did not say. In particular, the phrase: "I am delighted with the Krasnoyarsk museum "Peace Square". I consider it one of the best museums in Russia, and definitely the best in Siberia.
