A case was opened against him about calls for mass disorder in connection with the video in the social network TikTok before the action in support of Alexei Navalny on 31 January 2021, as well as the use of violence against a representative of the authorities and possession of weapons. On 29 April 2021, Ivanov was sentenced to eight months in a penal colony. Presumably, he was released in 2022. No later than 2025, a case was filed against him for calls to extremism and terrorism.
