Case summary
Resident of the Arkhangelsk region. Participated in protests against the construction of a landfill at Shiys station in 2018-2020. On 8th of December 2022, Kalinina was detained after a search, the next day the court appointed her a ban on certain actions within the framework of the case of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The reason was two posts on VKontakte: in one Kalinina questioned whether it was normal that people were being killed, while the other was a video with the story of a woman from Balaklia, whose son was killed by the shelling from the Russian military. On 12th of May 2023, Kalinina was sentenced to a fine of 130,000 rubles.
