Case summary
Resident of Nizhny Novgorod. In October 2022, he and his brother Dmitry were detained in a case of repeated discrediting of the Armed Forces, in which local activist Ilya Myaskovsky is a defendant. On 6 September 2023, the brothers were searched in a case of financing extremist activities: Gleb was charged with financing the Anti-Corruption Foundation, which was unjustifiably recognised as an extremist organisation. The next day he was taken into custody. In December 2023, it became known that the investigator banned Kalinychev from visiting his mother. On 12 August 2024, he was sentenced to four years' suspended sentence.
