Case summary

Resident of the village of Konstantinovka in the Amur region, deputy head of the local branch of the Union of Pensioners of Russia. Publicly spoke in favour of the war in Ukraine. In March 2024, he was fined 30,000 rubles under the protocol on discrediting the army because of an anti-war post and also reposts in Odnoklassniki. Later, a criminal case was initiated against him for repeated discrediting of the army because of likes of three anti-war posts in Odnoklassniki. On 2 June 2025, the case went to court. On 23 July 2025, Komlev was sentenced to a fine of 170 thousand rubles.
