According to the investigation, the accused, having previously been subjected to administrative liability for public actions, aimed at discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, and to maintain international peace and security, in April 2024 once again posted similar informational materials on one of the social networks. Investigators also believe that the accused, being a member of an extremist organization banned by the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Russian Federation, distributed paper leaflets in the houses of the city of Mirny aimed at inciting hatred and enmity, as well as humiliating human dignity based on nationality and social group affiliation, and also held conversations with local residents, promoting and involving them in the activities of the extremist organization.
