According to the investigation, in the summer of 2023, while on the territory of the Baikonur complex, using electronic technical devices, he repeatedly placed in the public domain on his personal page in one of the social networks information materials containing signs of public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Russian army, as well as public calls for the implementation of activities aimed at preventing the authorities and their officials from exercising their powers to ensure the fulfilment of their obligations to ensure the protection of the Russian Federation. In January 2023, Kozlov was fined 30,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of thirteen anti-war posts.
