Case summary

A resident of Orel was prosecuted for desecration of symbols of military glory after he videotaped another defendant in his case, Stepan Sitnik, painting over with white paint a graffiti in the shape of the letter Z, which also featured the slogan "We do not abandon our own" and a St. George's ribbon. Kulakov was initially released under recognizance not to leave, but the charge was later reclassified to aiding desecration. On September 3 2024, Kulakov was sentenced to a fine of 900 thousand rubles.
