Case summary

She taught English at a village branch of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Transport, Service and Tourism. In autumn, she gave a lecture during which she spoke out against mobilisation and advised students not to go to war. One of her students complained about her; the complaint stated that the teacher "instead of lectures, she made propaganda statements that Ukraine was stronger than Russia and would lose the war". After the court fined Lizunkova for this statement, the university administration reprimanded her. Some time later, she wrote a resignation letter.
