Case summary

Resident of the Moscow region. Since March 22, 2024, he has been arrested five times under administrative articles. According to the project "Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial", while Mayorov was in a special detention center, law enforcers studied the contents of his phone. On May 19, 2024, he was taken into custody after being charged with confidential cooperation with foreigners because of his correspondence with a Ukrainian blogger: the investigation team considered the latter to be a representative of the Ukrainian secret services. On April 7, 2025, Mayorov was sentenced to four years and 10 months in a general regime colony and a fine of 300 thousand rubles.
