Case summary

A resident of Omsk, pastor of the New Creation Church of Evangelical Christians. In March 2023, he was sentenced to one and a half years on charges of establishing and leading a religious association whose activities involved violence against citizens: according to the investigation, he engaged in psychological violence and put people in a trance with the help of hypnosis. We do not consider this charge to be politically motivated.

In December 2024 Moskvitin was taken into custody on charges of organising the activities of an "undesirable organisation": according to the version of the investigation, he showed videos of pastors of the TCCN Covenant of Churches. In July 2025 it became known that Moskvitin was released from custody. In January 2026, the court considered a measure of restraint prior to the hearing, the outcome is unknown. On 2 April 2026, the pastor was sentenced to three years of general regime colony, he was taken into custody in the courtroom.
