Case summary

Resident of Ryazan, former editor-in-chief of YA62.RU. In March 2025 the publication's licence was removed and its website was blocked. This happened after Moiseiuk was fined 60,000 rubles for articles about the draft and an explosion at a power plant, which the authorities found to be inaccurate. He resigned as editor-in-chief. According to the ASTRA Telegram channel, the YA62.RU website can currently be accessed in Russia without a VPN, and the media licence is listed as valid in the Roskomnadzor register.

On 17 February 2026 Moiseiuk was detained in a case of financing extremist activities because of the transfer of 300 rubles to the Anti-Corruption Foundation in August 2021. On 19 February he was taken into custody.
