Case summary

Born in the Orenburg region, lived in Russia until 2007, moved to Kazakhstan. Principal of Oxford Team language school in Ust-Kamenogorsk. In September 2024, Kazakh pro-Russian YouTube blogger Anton Budarov made a video about Nakaznenko in which he condemned him for his pro-Ukrainian stance and called on the Russian authorities to pay attention to him. The school principal was put on a wanted list. On 17 September, he was detained at Almaty airport while trying to fly to Turkey and sent under extradition arrest.
