Case summary

A resident of Tver. He was one of the leaders of the local protest movement, opposed the construction of a high-speed railway in the region, defended the institution of local self-government, and helped independent candidates. In autumn 2022, a case was brought against Neverov for discrediting the Russian army. In May 2023, masked law enforcers broke down the door to Neverov's flat and searched it. As a preventive measure, he was assigned a ban on certain actions. On 24 October 2024, the court dismissed the case due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
